    Stuffed Pepper

This may sound disgusting but it is DELICIOUS!!! (This serves 4.)

    Ingredients

    Ground meat

    Bowl full of rice

    1 Large Carrot

    1 Onion

    Peppers

    Tomato paste (small can)

    Mayo

    Salt/pepper

    (optional) Vegeta

    Eggs

    1. Cook rice.

2.Take out the insides of the peppers.

    3.Ground onion and carrot.

    4. Put meat, rice, onion and carrot and mix with hands in a mixing bowl.

5.Add 1 tbsp of mayo and half can of tomato paste and all spices and eggs ( 1 egg per each pound of meat) and mix again with hands.

6.Fill the peppers untill comepletely full.

7.Add tbsp of mayo and the rest of the tomato paste into the water you will be cooking in and add the peppers and salt and pepper corn and bay leaves and cook.

    8. Starting from the boiling point cook for 1 hour.

( if you have leftover meat you can make Ukrainian meatballs by frying the meat mix on a pan.)

I never have either.... BTW, I have added a little whole kernel corn to the mix for stuffing peppers. That went well, plus I have grated cheddar cheese and added that, too. I use catsup rather than tomato paste, plus a little garlic, but no egg or mayonnaise.
