    Hot Chocolate Mix

Since it's been a cold spring I decided it was hot chocolate weather. So I made a batch of marshmallows and used this recipe for the chocolate. It's cheap and tastes like chocolate not like the commercial stuff that tastes like sugar. Great on ice cream as well.

1/2 cup of cocoa mixed with 3/4 cup cold water. Make a paste. Heat over medium heat. stir so it doesn't stick. Add 1/4 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Let cool covered to avoid a film on the top. Store in refrigerator. It will keep for several weeks if it lasts that long!

Use 1 or 2 teaspoons in a glass of milk or hot milk.Adjust to your taste and enjoy.
