    Apple Peeler, Corer, Slicer

Used one for the first time last week, what an ingenius little gadget this is! I'm predicting many more apple desserts in my future. Adjustments can be made to core and slice without peeling, peel without coring and slicing, or to combine all three together. Perfect gift for your favorite pie maker! Also good for potatoes and onions...

I'm still rocking the old-school apple corer/slicer. As for peeling the apples.. i'm way too lazy for that so that means no apples pies from this guy. At any rate, check out this clip from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia about peeling apples. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NssEG...eature=related This scene cracks me up!

I once had an electric gadget that had replaceable blades and would peel potatoes or apples in about 40 seconds. I wore it out and replaced it twice while it was still on the market but then they weren't available anymore (it was manufactured by Dazey). It was pretty handy because it worked a treat and didn't need to be clamped to a table and was even easy to clean.

I can't wait til they come out with a way to replace the table clamps and suction cups with something that's quick and easy to use. Where's NASA when you need them?

Ingenious but scary looking! Google "antique apple peelers" just for fun.

Anyone ever come across an electric vegetable peeler? I was gifted this once, worked great on tough eggplant skins but eventually pooped out...of course I was using it in a commercial kitchen with MANY eggplants to peel.....

The ones that look old are the ones that work best! I have this one and it works like a charm.
