    steamed shrimp

I want to season my shrimp with cajun, but i see all receipe call for leaving the shell on
I want to know if it will hurt if I take the shell off and steam them without shells?

I doubt it will hurt them any at all, but the shell adds a great deal of flavor, which is why they call for leaving it on...

thanks for the info - i always thought when you peel the shrimp after steaming the flavor was on the shell
and your fingers, and not the shrimp
