    Princess Pound Cake

    1 pkg. white cake mix
    2/3 c. oil
    1 c. crushed strawberries
    1/2 c. water
    3 eggs
1 reg. pkg strawberry gelatin (not the large size)

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Spoon batter into a tube pan that has been greased and floured. Bake for 35 minutes and check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the cake. If it comes out almost clean it is done. Bake 5 more minutes if necessary. Cool cake completely and serve with whipped cream and strawberry slices.

Beautiful and worthy of an Easter table!

We just had something very similar to this. It's great because it's so light that you actually can eat it dessert after dinner without feeling like you're going to explode.
    I eat, therefore, I am.

Very good! It is a nice summertime dessert when you want something light. Strawberries are always plentiful right now, and using fruit in season is a plus for success. Sometimes you can even leave out the starwberry jello. It is perfectly wonderful without it, too!

Thank you for sharing this recipe, hope that you can provide an actual image of this cake. The ingredients are cheap and affordable and you can easily found it in grocery store.
