FINALLY got morning glories and sweet peas planted, violas and begonias are growing right out of their pots, house plants are thriving in the sun, and the hibiscus is starting to look like more than just sticks in a planter!

So much rain I barely need to water at all....

It is 56 in the NC Mountains today. The plants and birds are very confused. I am praying that the freezing temps at night keeps blooming at bay. We will have more snow . We have some of our biggest snows in March. Our rule is to NEVER put out bedding plants until after Mother's day in May and then be prepared to cover them up!

Don't I know it! Usually have a blizzard mid December at the latest and had it last week. Very warm out and expecting it to be about 8 tomorrow (48 in the real world) time will tell.....

One year ago today we had snow that when it fianally stopped the next day the City of Chicago and must suburbs were paralized with over 3 feet of snow. Everything was shut down. Today it was almost 60 degrees F and people were walking around like it was Spring. They also had a small earthquake last night less than 50 miles from me. Only a 2. something and a lot of people did not feel it, but when did we have to worry about earthquakes in Northern and Central Illinois? This is crazy. I do not know when I will be able to plant this year. The weather is changing all over the United States and I am sure in Canada also.

I have a really big yard, unfortunatly I have only one dandylion! I know they will populate more soon! I like to see them in the spring as they are one of the first flowers I see.
    Can't wait for more!
