I have discovered that if I want to snack when I shouldn't, drinking a glass of iced water will solve that really quick. Not the most satisfying thing in the world, but hey.... do you want to lose weight or not? Water is a major help along the way to a happier, lighter you.
Something else that is helpful. Bran flakes for breakfast, and even again for lunch if you are serious about getting things done as quickly as possible. Add some fruit and you are sitting pretty.
For the sweet tooth I found that a cold orange helped. Add some lemon to that iced water. It cleanses your liver and gives it the power to remove toxins. Try a poached egg for breakfast. Protein lasts longer and helps curb the late day cravings. Add dried cranberries, raisins, nuts and/or seeds to that bran flake meal.
put some spice on that popcorn, garlic or curry. buy the plain yogurt and add a teaspoon of low sugar jam. I add a half teaspoon of agave to make it sweet. I also make yogurt cheese. Use a coffee filter and drain your yogurt for a day. it turns into a cheese like ricotta. I then will add flavours.for a spread or just to eat as a snack.
