    Grocery List

Are any of you like me and go grocery shopping go down an aisle and see a can of tomatoes think you need it and put it in your cart........when you get home think to yourself, I have loads of tomatoes why did I get more!
Now I go through all I have before going out then making a LISTI added up my bills lately and found out I had saved over 50 $$$$$ because of this!!

That is a good idea Cassie. We use a list on the refrigerator. You know the pads that have the magnets on the back? You can pick them up most anywhere. When someone runs out of something it is their job to put it on the list right then. That way we are fully stocked and don't buy the wrong items.

It is also good when keeping an eye out for sales.

Making a list ahead of time is a great idea, especially if you have this week's supermarket flyer in front of you. But I also check the manager's specials, too, and sometimes change my mind about what's for dinner based on sales that I didn't know about, so it's good to be flexible, too!

We do the same. We use the flyers to see what we will be stocking up on for the pantry. And meats!

Most stores now have an online flyer plus printable coupons. Make your list after reading the great recipes we share with each other.

I always make a list. I am always afraid that I will forget something that is really imperative if I don't. The grocery stores are always filled with too many delicious distractions!

We just have a running list on the calendar, then every time we are really low on groceries I go through the flyers and we get what's on sale.
