Man vs. Food, and Anthony Bourdain.

I love these shows. Not because the give recipies, but because the give me ideas to improve my own recipies.

Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential" is howlingly funny, I had tears rolling down my face and couldn't continue to read...

I love Bourdain.....love him. He is so silly and witty and looks at things in such a New York way.

He is very openminded about all kinds of foods and goes on these really fun adventures. You'd definitely have a good time, K!

These are two very good shows. It is fun to go along on these food treks. You can visit places with new ideas and classic beloved foods, too. Maybe it might not be easy to get to these places, but the shows can take you there w/o the inconveniences you might encounter on the road.

The ultimate (possibly only) redeeming factor of TV is that it takes me places I would otherwise never see, that's why I stick with the travel shows. Great food and travel--what a life!!!

Yeah, I rarely tire of armchair travel. It is cheap, and teaches you a lot so you know where you REALLY dream of going.
