I have this Chopper that is AMAZING!! I can chop anything with it and it is so easy-not to mention safe. I never buy the chopped nuts anymore, always whole ones and I chop them myself. It also has different tips (2) that can chop different things.. I use the larger one for my stews and the smaller one for dessert articles!
I bought an immersion blender with a chopper attachment at walmart for $40. I also use a black and decker mini chopper. both work great and easy clean up. I also use my mothers hand chopper. It's glass with a wood disk in the bottom and spring loaded. circa 1940. no electricity required, great bicep builder!
I have one of the clamshell ones that hinge open for cleaning; it's handy & quick and works very well, though it isn't quite sharp enough to handle ripe tomato (I was making a single quesadilla & tried to do bits of onion, black olive, green & red pepper, hot pepper and tomato all in one batch.)
Many of us will have seen the TV commercial for Slap Chop with Vince, the ShamWow guy.
DJ Steve Porter put a dance beat behind it and used Autotune to give the voice musical pitch. Kind of catchy.
