This was a really fun show. I wish it was still on. I loved the places they took their audience. It was beautiful to see those very old schools and castles. I enjoyed their cooking, too. They were bawdy and full of fun.

I have heard of them, but missed the shows. I wonder if I can find them on the internet somewhere...
The dark haired lady is dead, now. She was something else. So full of life and love for cooking. I haven't tried, but I bet we could find them on the internet. Fortunately for me I recorded all their shows I could... only on tape, though. Poor quality.
They were a riot, we all loved them--one friend got their cookbook for Christmas and swore by it!
I have a couple of cookbooks by them. They did a lot to improve the reputation of British cooking!
From what I hear it could use some improving...oh boy, am I ever gonna hear it now from everybody who grew up in England!!
They were a riot. Just "google" two fat ladies and you will find a lot of info. They focused on, do as you please, eat what you want, so what if your Doctor says no, here's how we do it. I think they were the basis of many of today's programs.
I loved the quips they made and the places they went. They did as they pleased and had so much fun doing it. I loved the stories they told as they cooked.
they are on the cooking channel on cable on early sunday morning.
