I thought this would be the area for Apple Butter questions. I used a recipe from and old farm cook book that called for "sweet vinegar" for the cooking down part of the recipe, with no other specifications. I used apple cider vinegar assuming that would qualify. The apple butter turned out really vinegary. I tried adding more sugar, but it still has a super tart after taste. Any suggestions as to what I can do besides adding even more sugar? Thanks!
