I put strawberries in the blender along with milk, sugar to taste and a little vanilla. Blend. Then add ice and blend until it is crushed fine. This is delicious. I love the Creamsicle Smoothie, too!
My version of a chocolate monkey

3 Tablespoons of white sugar
1 ripe banana
2 ice cubes
1 cup milk
Blend until smooth. Adjust portions to your taste.
I love smoothies! I often mix and match with frozen fruit, etc. One we really enjoy is frozen bananas (approx. 4?), sugar to taste (I use 1 1/2 T.), a little vanilla, a tablespoon of peanut butter, 3-4 ice cubes, and milk, blended together for a peanut butter-banana smoothie.
dazaga how about a 1/4 t of cinnamon for a little flavouring? I find cinnamon always adds to the recipe and turns it into comfort food.
Just posted this on another thread:
