Kathy, my husband is having the same problem. He pickled six pints last night, and they were still not sealed this morning. He decided to go ahead and put them in a hot water bath this morning. Can't hurt huh? I dont' know if you will get this, but if you do, please post what you did go get it right.
Thanks, Binky
Pickled okra may be processed in a boiling water bath canner (no pressure cooker needed). Pickles should be high enough in acid (due to the vinegar) so that a pressure canner doesn't need to be used.
Process pint jars of pickled okra for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath canner.
If you're having trouble with the seals, be sure to wipe the jar rim clean before placing the cap on top. Keep the cap submerged in hot water until use. Tighten the ring then back it off very slightly; have the water fully boiling. Newer jar manufacturer's instructions recommend that you leave them in the canner with the heat turned off for an additional 5 minutes before removing to help complete the seal.
Hope this helps,
