    Saccharin substitute

Can anyone provide me with a substitute for saccharin? I have an old recipe from my grandmother for saccharin pickles, but do not want to use saccharin and would like to avoid suger also. Is stevia possible? Or agave nectar? I've tried stevia before and it didn't work so well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try Splenda. I have used it with success in many things.

Splenda would substitute if you know how much your saccharin equals sugar. Splenda is used equally but I always use less. I find it to sweet when equal amounts are used. Stevia and agave necar would probably work as long as you follow the guidelines for amounts. Why not make a small batch to test first before you put in all that time and money?
