    Cornflake drops with Lyles Corn Syrup

    I'm looking for a recipe for cornflake chocolate drops. A Scottish neighbor made them when I was a kid. All I can remember is that she used cornflakes, chocolate and Lyles corn syrup. She would drop them into pretty paper cups. They were so delicious that I can still remember the taste today--40 years later!! Can anyone help me?

    Hi Rooster, and welcome!

    Does this recipe sound something like what you're looking for?

    Melt 2 cups syrup with 1 cup sugar. Cool until all sugar is dissolved. Add 3 cups of peanut butter. Add 4 cups cornflakes. Mix all ingredients. Drop spoonfuls of candy onto waxed paper. Let cool.
