    A Simple Ham Salad

    3 cups diced cooked ham
    2 1/2 cups diced celery
    1/2 teaspoon celery seed
3/4 cup chopped sweet pickles or sweet gherkins
3/4 cup real mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    chopped crisp lettuce
    salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients. This is an easy one to chop in a food processor when using whole ingredients. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.

Serve in popover shells or spread on crusty bread for a lunch box meal. For popover filling, add a tablespoon cream for a richer dressing. Can substitute chopped eggs for pickles.

I have one that uses a little honey and taco sauce. It's good, too. Simple. Add a little chopped, boiled egg, too.
