I copied this recipe from Cooks.com .
Here's the recipe followed by my question
3 c. whole kernel corn
4 tblspn. butter
1/3 cup chopped red and green peppers
1 tsp. chopped onion
4 tsp. flour
1 c. thick sour cream
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Fry corn in 2 tablespoons butter. Melt remaining butter, add peppers and onion and cook over low heat. Stir often, until tender. Add flour and mix well. Add sour cream and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Season with s&p. Serve with corn.
My question is how long do you fry corn before it is done? How do you prevent it from burning while frying?
