    Cool Grandpa's Imperial Crab

My Grandpa lives down on the gulf coast in Florida so he has seafood regularly available to him at a halfway decent price. He has come up so many delicious seafood recipes. This is also one of my favorites of his.

    Grandpa's Imperial Crab

    Ingredients

Per 1 pound Jumbo Lump Crab Meat:

    2 Tbsp butter
    1/2 cup diced green pepper
    1 small, diced tomato
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1 1/4 tsp dry mustard
    1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
    1 Tbsp chopped parsley
    1 small jar pimentos (diced)

    Mix well with crab meat/lb:

    1 egg (beaten)
    1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
several dashes tabasco sauce (to taste)
    1 - 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise (1 is less soupy)

    Directions

Saute the butter, green pepper, and tomato until tender (approx. 5 minutes)

Mix everything together well, place in a casserole dish or something like it and bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes or until done. It will look like it has been lightly toasted, pretty golden color around the edges, and top.

alex1119, that sounds just divine! If I was not living in the desert SouthWest, I would try it! I assume your crab meat is Blue Crab? You have a lucky Grampa!
