Nevermind, I read that you should wash carrots and not peel them if you want to preserve the most nutrients. Thanks anyway.

I have never heard of peeling carrots!

It really depends upon whether the carrots are new carrots or large carrots that have been in storage. You might want to remove a tough, coarse skin.
