i do like alton brown and love seeing his explanations of why and what.

the following are just my opinions so please take them that way!

giada seems to be a total fake!!! i've noticed when she smiles, it looks as she must be in excruciating pain!

i would think if her family (movie makers) could pay food network big bucks to air her show, they could at least find her a husband that was handsome and not so homely looking!

like i said, these are my humble opinions of the fake giada. i see real italians that pronounce words so differently than giada!!!!

I kinda often wonder about her knife skills for a pro chef and caterer. It's like "martha's" production team gone culinary. Simple cooking for the wannabe.
Alton is great, I learn so much from him. No pretense.
