Without a doubt chocolate chip is my favorite, (I know boring) but I really haven't meet a cookie I did not like. I made Molasses Crinkles and Chewy Ginger Cookies last week to put in the freezer and I must say not a whole lot actually made it to the freezer. They were both very good, if you are interested in either one I can post the recipe for you, just let me know.
I am intrested in both, if it is not a bother!
Thank-you lovetobake45!

Mariah-RoseCass, Posting a recipe for someone that will use it is never a bother. I am glad to post them and I hope you like them!
Molasses Crinkles
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable shortening at room temperature
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, softened
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup molasses (not robust or blackstrap)
About 1/3 cup sanding or granulated sugar for tops of cookies
Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and salt in a bowl until combined.
Beat together shortening, butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add egg and molasses, beating until combined. Reduce speed to low, then mix in flour mixture until combined.
Roll 1 heaping teaspoon of dough into a 1-in. ball with wet hands, then dip one end of ball in sugar, place sugar side up 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 F. for 10-12 minutes, cool 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Yield: about 6 dozen cookies.
This cookie has a great spiced flavor, it is soft on the inside and lightly crisp-crackled on the outside. You will need to use wet hands to roll these cookies as well. It really is fun to play with your food.
Chewy Ginger Cookies
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling
Heat oven to 350 F.
Mix the first six dry ingredients until blended. Mix in the softened butter until it resembles brown sugar. (This sounds weird but bear with me.) Then mix in the brown sugar. Blend in the egg and molasses until well combined.
Roll into tablespoon balls (using wet hands) and coat in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on parchment lined baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Test you first batch to get the desired chewiness, every minute longer will result in a crispier cookie. Yield: about 3 dozen.
These cookie recipes sound very similar but trust me they taste different, both delicious but different. They freeze beautifully. Let me know if you like them!!
I like them both. I can`t wait to make them!
Thank-you.
