    Dolce Vita by David Rocco

Must be the most colorful cookbook ever. David's approach is very different. The colorful pages are spectacular but makes following and reading the recipes very difficult. The traditional Italian cuisine is very easy to make and recipes are well explained. He has included a lot of techniques. He says he is not a chef, he's Italian. He has a great passion that shows in his cooking. I enjoy reading cookbooks like they are a novel. This is one of the best for this habit of mine.
I think the most impressive thing is that some recipes don't have measurements. You cook by your own sense of taste and what just feels right. Dolce Vita (the good life)

I would recommend you spend some time at www.davidrocco.com.
