I'm looking for a stuffed pepper recipe that was on the back of the Ronzoni Elbow pasta box probably around 1995. Some of the ingredients were stewed tomatoes, elbows, barbeque sauce, corn, ground beef - that's all I can remember, can anyone help?

What I found with a list of those ingredients (except for the bbq sauce) was Mexican Beef Casserole. Or could it be Macaroni Stuffed Peppers? Or Peppers Stuffed with Macaroni and Ham?

Stuffed peppers are very good! my kiddes don`t like them that much, so I scoop it all out of the pepper.

I just use hamburger 80% rice and tomato sauce and oinon in my stuffed peppers
Most of the kids in our family did not like the peppers either. But when we started to use the red, yellow or orange ones they seemed not to mind them. I think because they are a little sweeter. I like to add a couple of big meat balls to the tomatoe sauce as an extra bonus. They just get the flavor of the peppers. Also in our family after the peppers are done, we mix in a few spoons of sour cream to the tomatoe sauce that they are cooked in. Gives it a really nice taste.
Green peppers are overwhelming in flavor and repeat on you for hours, I stopped buying them years ago. Luckily the closest market always has red peppers at a very low price, $1.99@lb. versus $3.99@lb at the other chains.....
I never use green anymore. Prefer the rainbow colours. Has anyone cooked with chocolate peppers? or grown them in their garden? Just wondered if they are like reds.
I have seen the brown ones but I have not bought them yet. Too high priced. Maybe I will get one and try it and if I like it, save the seeds. I usually have good luck with using seeds from the store bought produce. My rainbow peppers have been great this year from the seeds of peppers that I bought last year. I will post when I can get a hold of them. "K" are you near Boston? My niece goes to the Farmer's type Market on Saturday and loads up with lots of produce for next to nothing. She then cans and freezes for the next couple of days.
