Try adding a little rosemary and thyme to potato soup - delicious!!
If you do any grilling put some rosemary in the fire and it will flavor whatever you are grilling.

That's a great tip and thank you for bringing that up.
I keep a kitchen herb garden close by the grill and I toss in all sorts of herbs. If you can dip them into water first, they last longer and keep them off to the side so they can smoke. I add chives, oregano, rosemary, sage, marjoram, mint, thyme, basil and even the outer skins from onions and whole garlic cloves or citrus peels. If I'm using a smoker box, I'll toss herbs over the smoking wood chips, too.
