Anyone have any idea about substitutions for cumin?
What are you making and why do you want to sub? Is it because you don't like cumin, or because you don't have it. What you're cooking would have a bearing on what you'd sub with.
Why would you want to leave it out? It is one of my favorite spices and almost everything Mexican has it in it. If you just don't have it you could sub chili powder but it won't be the same. gaileybird
